So much to see & do
at Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort...
Tangalooma ('where fishes meet' in Aboriginal) was originally built as a naval base in World War II, and then became a whaling station in 1952. By 1962, whales became scarce and the station was closed. A group of Gold Coast business men purchased the lease and reopened it as a tourist resort in 1963.
Facilities within the resort include a range of cafes, bars, restaurants and swimming pools.
A huge range of activities are available to you during your stay at Tangalooma, including whale watching, wild dolphin feeding, safaris, and games - the resort offers it all! With over 80 different activities, half of which are free, you'll be spoilt for choice!
